Amazing Test Results and Two On-line Classes I'm Adding

Yesterday was crazy/busy, and I was really happy I didn't have to make any more Alkagizers until Friday because I truly didn't have the time to prepare and blend the veggies for one. I'll schedule it for Friday which will be perfect.

I usually have one Alkagizer (a vegetable smoothie) every
day. I make them in batches of four at a time - much easier
to handle that way. I've had some great batches and a few
horrid ones, but most of them are OK ... not great, but not
bad. I do credit a lot of my health to the nutrients I am able
to easily get through them. Thanks, WildFit.

First thing in the morning was my appointment with my doctor for my annual "Wellness Check". This is a Medicare thing, so it's not as in-depth as a "true" physical, but it's fairly comprehensive and does include a full blood panel and, in my case, an every-two-years bone scan. I told my doctor all about WildFit because there had been some dramatic changes since last year (not least of which was almost 30 pounds lighter, so a MUCH better BMI which she was very enthusiastic about). I then headed down to the labs for blood work. I get my bone scan on Monday and have hopes things will also have improved with my Osteoporosis and Osteopenia.

I was in the Yellow last test, but yesterday, was firmly
in the blue - Below 200 level. I'm delighted and totally
credit my food regime with the drop.

I got really lucky with an excellent tech who didn't even prick when taking my blood. My results were released late in the day and I printed them out, individually by the panel, and also comparing them with the two previous historical labs. I'm THRILLED. EVERY marker has moved into mid-range. My Cholesterol, which actually had been slightly above the range last time, was firmly back down into middle-range. Every other blood marker was also well within the acceptable range. WildFit may not be for everyone, but I'm WildFit for life! The test results just confirmed what I already felt - that joining the nutrition program was one of the best things I've ever done for myself.

An on-line friend recommended Steezy Dance Studio
online classes to me for additional physical activity.
I took a basic intro class yesterday and think I can
get into adding this to my life. I'm aiming for increased
flexibility and movement now that I've almost got
my weight where I want it.

I did my usual three loads of laundry, did a session of Yoga with Adriene, worked on Sharon's room and got a second box ready to take to Half-Price Books, and added in a session of Steezy Dance - just their basic beginning class at this point, but it'll be fun adding some dance movements to my exercises. I finally allowed myself to sit for a little more than an hour while talking with Aearwen, and then turned the laptop on to a live support call for Living WildFit while getting dinner prepped and put into the oven. All in all, a busy day.

I also have added Yoga with Adriene (and Benji) to
my every-other-day schedule. She's a delight to learn
from. Yesterday's routine was hard - I couldn't do
all of it, and certainly not as gracefully as she does -
but I can see where I could go with it, and I like
that possibility. Again, these are on-line classes.

Have a glorious Thursday and enjoy. I'll be back tomorrow for more cleaning since I won't have next Friday off (Chickie is taking a vacation day). I have to keep up with what needs doing before Sharon gets here, and my calendar is ticking down the days. I'm not in panic mode yet, but I can get there easily - LOL.
