Cleaning, Day One

My DH finished working on the closet last night.  The portion of the paneling that was cut away to access the broken pipe was framed in and affixed to the wall so that I can now use that half of the closet.  That will allow me to continue working on cleaning and culling my clothing.  I want to donate at least half of my clothes to Goodwill.  I am trying to cull carefully, although I tend to throw away recklessly, there are some outfits that have meaning to my DH and he would be upset if I got rid of them.  So, I have to choose carefully.  But, in the main, almost everything can go.  There are a few things that I will sell - I will need to get them onto a mannequin and photograph them and then put them onto eBay.  I have a fully beaded buckskin dress that my Grandma made and a very nice silk suit - things I don't want to just donate.

The infamous panel cut-out.  I think DH did
a pretty good job framing it out and attaching
it to the wall.  Subsequent repairs will be much
easier (although I hope they will also be
unnecessary).

I will also be vaccuuming like a demon today.  I think I'll drag the vaccuum to the upstairs and work my way from the top down.  So...watch out spiders, you little "lobs" you.  And watch out all other bugs - I'm gonna get you!!!  This house WILL be cleaned - at least as much as I can do in two days.
