Getting Excited for my Weekend

OK, it's only Tuesday.  But starting tomorrow, I have several days off.  I really need this.  I'll be working like crazy on Wednesday and Thursday to get my house somewhat into order, vaccuuming and dusting, and continuing to tackle the piles of clothes etc from my broken pipe.  I hope to have most of the things put away or ready to rearrange by the time Sharon arrives late Thursday.  We'll drop off her suitcase, and then off to Red Lobster!  Jim wants to stay home and eat Bar-B-Qued ribs, and that's fine.  Sharon and I have a LOT of catching up to do. 

Yummy!  I have coupons - even better! 

Jim put the framing around the hole in my closet wall last night.  Everything he did took twice as long, but at least it is now finished (almost, but I can at least use that side of the closet).  It was my number one priority for him - to get my closet back into condition so that I could put clothes back into that section.  Now I have to find new furniture.  I need a new dresser and also want to replace a small desk that I bought in the thrift shop while I was in grad school.  The desk didn't work very well then, and still doesn't, some 30+ years later.  Maybe it's time to upgrade - LOL.
