Cleaning and The BIG DAY Arrives

I got a lot done yesterday but have a lot more to do today.  I recycled almost a three-foot tall stack of flattened cardboard, filled another trash bag and started my third bag of clothing to give to Goodwill.  The last of the clothes that I will keep has been put into my closet, now I need to rearrange the closet so that shorter things are in one area and longer in another.  Then I can put storage boxes (plastic) under the shorter area that will hold my sweaters, etc.  I'll work on things until I have to leave to pick Sharon up at the airport late this afternoon.

A typical crowd at the Minnesota State Fair.  I'll
be there with Sharon starting tomorrow!  Can't wait.

It's going to be a rainy day so I'm glad that I'm not attending the State Fair today.  Looking at the weather, it looks like Sharon and I will have great weather for Friday, Saturday and Sunday and rain on Monday.  Monday will be a State Fair day, but I don't mind rain at the Fair - there are so many buildings to go into.  Rain at the Renaissance Festival is less enjoyable - there are only small storefronts to go into and the area can turn into a mud pit with a heavy rain.  I'm suddenly happy that we'll be doing Ren on Sunday instead of our usual Monday.  It'll be a bit cool, but I can always take a jacket along.
