All Good Things...

Today I will drop my friend Sharon off at the airpost before going to work, and my life will return to normal.  Of course, normal is a debatable term when it comes to my life - I try to live life a little bit on the edge.  But, my body will appreciate the rest and not walking all day, every day.  It was a great vacation.  We went to the State Fair on Friday, Saturday and Monday and attended the wedding of the King and Queen at the Renaissance Festival on Sunday.  It was all wonderful.  Chickie was able to join us for Sunday and Monday, so it was a real store outing.  Today I'll take Sharon out to breakfast on the way to the airport, and then my food consumption can return to normal also.  That will be a bit of a relief.  I haven't had nearly enough veggies over the past few days, and I've had too much fried food.  The attendance on Saturday was a new record - 234,384 people.  We were part of that crush of people!

A part of the Mighty Midway at the Fair.

The world still continued while we were out at the Great Minnesota Get-Together.  Among many things that happened, I received notification of the death of an on-line friend of mine - Lady Roisin.  She was involved in the Tolkien fan-fic groups as well as some costumery groups that I belong to.  She was always upbeat and very sharing with her artistic gifts.  We will all miss her and I send best wishes to her family.  I'm going to keep this short and sweet today...but later in the week I'll have some meatier posts.  Plan your week to be a creative one!
