Just Checking In with One Photo To Share - Catching Up

Just a quick note today because I'm running a bit late. I'm here, I survived the State Fair and Renaissance with Sharon (and DH and Chickie) and I'll have a lot of photos to share with all of you. But not today. Today I'm getting my house back. I'm moving back into my bathroom, doing multiple loads of extra laundry, getting the guest bedroom back into its' normal configuration and doing more laundry, and basically, returning my house into my control.

We had a BLAST! It was SO much fun sharing these days with Sharon, and also sharing several of them with Chickie and DH. We walked our feet off, met multiple people all over the place, talked to strangers, caught up on life, and generally, had the fabulous and fantastic time I always hope for, and usually do get with Sharon at the State Fair.

Here's a photo of Sharon (l) and Chickie (r) sitting
under an umbrella on the patio of O'Gara's pub on
Sunday, the 4th in the afternoon. We'd already put
in some good mileage by this point, and DH's feet
were hurting him, so he opted for a sit-down with
a beverage. Worked for me - LOL.

She has two new kittens, her old cats (Pippin and Merry) having passed earlier this year. There's nothing like new kittens to keep a person on their toes - LOL. After discussion with her sister, they named them "Sam" and "Dean" from "The Winchesters" TV show. A close runner up was "Sheldon" and "Leonard". Unfortunately, I have never seen "The Winchesters," so I almost have to look it up every time to remember their names. That's totally on me, though.

So, today life returns to "normal". I have a gown to pick up from the cleaners, and I'll bring them the last of my Mother's gowns - a full-length black opera gown. I have bunches of cleanup to do, groceries to buy, and life to get back to. It was fabulous, but life returns. I'm tight on time, so tossing in a single photo and I have to get to the pool on time. Much more tomorrow.
