Le Tour enters Stage 13 with a slow incline over rolling hills. No real mountains here - a single Cat 4 hill midway through the 173 km course. The men go from Tours to Saint-Amand-Montrond today, straight across the center of France and still heading towards the Alps. This is still a sprinter's paradise and the boys will be fighting it out close to the finish line. Speaking of which - did you see Kittel overtake Cavendish on yesterday's final rush? That's rare and it was a beautiful thing to see. Bravo Kittel!
This photo, real or photoshopped, is just lovely. The moonlight on the water sprinkles light and the frong-lit weeds become touched by magic under the moon's light. |
So, pretty pictures....
I love the moonlight on the water in this pic. Just like sprinkled jewels on the ground, it is staged, but that's perfectly fine. |
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could just hitch a ride on a passing cloud? |
I love the gathering clouds in the moonshine. What a panorama. |
Everyone has a leafy tunnel of peaceful thoughts in their heads, but to experience one in real life is totally magical. I would love to travel down this path. |
Once again, floating above the land, but the land in this pic is filled with falling water, mysterious mists, and many balloons of joy. |
So there you have it - a collection of photos featuring the sky and magical journeys for your Friday. I hope you have a marvelous day because you deserve it!
