Running Late - Pics Only Today

I'm running late because I wanted to write a drabble for Larner's birthday and it took longer than expected. But...I'll do pictures for my post today because pictures are always so fun. I think I'll concentrate on cathedrals in Europe today because I adore architecture and these buildings always allow my thoughts to soar.  So, without further ado - cathedrals...

I adore the windows on this cathedral. So elaborate.

This wonderful Gargoyle lives in Paris. He's so beautiful!

This amazing cathedral is in Germany. Look at all the spires.

I'm not 100% sure of where this one is, but what a fantastic photo, and look
at all of the details on the facade. Stunning!

The Sagrada Familia cathedral in Barcelona, Spain is possibly the most amazing religious
structure to be built in modern times. It is still under construction, but was
consecrated as a Cathedral by Pope Benedict. Yes...the small dots on the white
surface are people. It really IS that large!
