Back to Normal

It's Black Friday (a major sales days in stores throughout the US - not sure about the rest of the world), it's snowing, and I'm trying to get used to my new/old schedule. I decided that I needed to get back to moving some things into the morning again because I need that uninterrupted time. So, I have moved my blog and email stuff back to the morning, I am shifting writing to the coffeeshop and the first hour or so at the shop, and that leaves nighttime for beta work. Thus, a morning blog again.

Thanksgiving Day was marvelous. Because I was cooking, I spent the day in the kitchen reading on my phone. It was so darned pleasant to spend a day with my nose in a book. The turkey turned out awesome, and my DH drove a nice portion of food over to my Father-by-marriage so that he could share in the meal. My DH will be picking at the turkey every chance he gets and we'll be eating leftovers tonight - very happy. Oh, and the pumpkin pie...heaven, especially while watching Shrek - hard to beat :-)

On Saturday night DH wanted to watch Two Towers - no arguments from me. But our DVD player has been dying. It took more than 20 restarts to be able to watch the movie. Not good. So when we went to Target on Sunday we saw that they had a DVD/Blu-Ray/CD player on sale for under $100. Voila! Our Holiday gift for ourselves. DH still needs to connect it, but we'll finally be able to see movies again. Happy me.

Have a wonderful Black Friday. For those of you who shop - I hope you get great bargains. And for those of you who might shop with me - enjoy my shop's Black Friday specials - they are pretty darned fantastic :-)
