Discoveries and Photographs

I guess my DH has discovered Subway sandwiches. For those of you outside the US, Subway is a chain restaurant that features what we call subway sandwiches. Those are a long bread sliced lengthwise with many different choices for fillings. My DH loves the spicy Italian - a variety of cold cuts and cheese with lettuce, red onions, black olives, green peppers, banana peppers and jalepeno peppers. I love the tuna salad and several other varieties. They are quite inexpensive - $5 each for a 12 inch long size. My DH decided that he loved them after I picked some up for lunch on Friday. So he decided that he wanted one for lunch on Sunday and mentioned that he wanted a second one for dinner. I was happy to get one for lunch, but I wasn't going to make a second trip for dinner, so he was stuck eating some soup. Life is rough. If he had said "get one for lunch and another for dinner" I would have been happy to get two for him when I was out earlier. He is horrible at making decisions though, and that's one example of why.
There was a huge tornado in Mississippi yesterday - the Southeast has been getting pounded lately. I will have to remember to Email my friend Seth and find out if he and his family are all right. I am not exactly sure where in the state he lives, and can't just tell from the maps.
And we are into the next-to-last week for our annual Beading For A Cure fundraiser. That means we only have 16 more items up for auction this year. Please take a look at Louisa Meece's (bottom) and Jean Erickson's (top) pieces, up for auction this week. Two beautiful necklaces from two talented beaders.
