I Need A Housecleaning Fairy and WilderBody Ends Today, 10X Begins

Today it's full speed ahead. I need to do a quick grocery shop, and I also need to drop off the Goodwill load I didn't get to on Wednesday. I have books for Half-Price, but I'm holding off on those until Wednesday because I'll probably have a bit more to add to them after I finish cleaning Sharon's room. I need to make a 1/2-batch of my Ogre Juice today, it's the only chance I'll have. I don't need a lot of groceries for it, but I needed to do a quick grocery run anyway.

I need a jalapeno and a green pepper, a
cucumber and some celery for my
ogre juice. I think I have everything
else needed already in the fridge, although
I'll check before I dash to the store.

I have a Graduation Celebration Zoom call today to celebrate the end of WilderBody. For me, the program wasn't all that successful, but I'm an active person anyway, and it did succeed in making me much more aware of what I want to do to improve my physical fitness, so I'm giving the program an 80%. My class was the premiere class - we were the guinea pigs, in essence. I think our reactions varied dramatically and that the program needs more fine tuning, but it's probably going to be pretty good once the kinks get worked out. In the meantime, I'm picking up another MindValley course - 10X Fitness. I've been interested in this one for a long time and I think it will do very well for me in terms of strength and flexibility with a reasonable time obligation on my part. It'll give me a chance to return to working with our Bowflex, and I've always loved that equipment.

I am a member of MindValley, which allows me to take
almost any of their many courses at no cost. I've been
interested in 10X for a while. I think it's time to settle
down to actually taking the class, and I can use my Bowflex
for many of the exercises, so I'll get some use from that
piece of equipment. It saves me from having to go
to the gym, which I don't want to do until I return to
the swimming pool in the Fall.

My Sharon Countdown is 3 - I have three (actually 2-3/4) days open to get her room cleaned and set up. I'm quite close, but still have a lot to do just to make myself happy with how my house looks. It's been two years since Sharon was last able to visit, and Covid (plus my broken foot) was not conducive to achieving miracles in housecleaning. I wish I had my friend Cairistiona's cleaning skills. She's a cleaning genius. I, on the other hand, am solidly mediocre. (I also work, which makes a difference.) So I'll channel my inner Cairistiona and maybe I'll have everything ready for final vacuuming and dusting next Thursday.

I could use a Housecleaning Fairy, but it's not horribly
bad. It's just the time aspect, with the Zoom call
pushing into my time. Still, I can manage. It'll be
finished on time and I'll love having Sharon here again.

I'd better start writing a list of what's on my ToDo list today, so I'm signing off now. I hear thunder in the background, so hopefully we're getting some rain to add to the 3/4" we got yesterday - SO needed. I'll be back tomorrow, please be kind and stay safe. *hugs*
