Safe and Happy New Year's Eve

Calendars are a construct - many societies over time have had calendars in a myriad of forms and designs. The Western world that most of us live in have embraced a particular calendar that declares tonight a bridge night - a passage from one year to another.

Happy New Year to all of you! I look forward to sharing
another year with you in 2020.

As we ready ourselves to cross that bridge to the other side and begin wandering the virgin ground of the next year, I hope for happiness, peace, love and joy for each of you. I can do nothing about governments, I can do nothing about municipal standards or rules, but I can attempt to spread a small bit of happiness among my friends and acquaintances. That's what I'm doing today.

Happy New Year!

I have Wednesday and Thursday off work, so probably won't be posting again until Friday morning. That gives all of you the opportunity to stake out the path we'll travel over the next year; I'll follow your stakes as you blaze the trail.

I value each of you, and I look forward to sharing another year with you through the pages of my blog and your own postings. Be safe, be warm and be happy. *Hugs* to all!
