Happy New Year - Now What?

It's a new year. Wow! Actually, it's the second day of the new year and the second day off I have and I'm enjoying the fact that I have the ability to sleep in until 9:00 am, shower, and then veg out with a book or shop. It's been great. I'll have to drop by the shop for a very short time today to get a deposit made out and then drive to the bank with it, but today is another no-effort day.

I slept through new year. I'm not complaining - I really needed some sleep.

I did join the YMCA on the last day of December so my schedule will be changing. Current plans are to go to the Y on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. That will keep me on a tight schedule for two of the days but give me a bit of leeway on Wednesdays (sometimes). I'm a bit intimidated by the equipment, but felt very comfortable with the people I saw there - lots of old fogies like me and people who weren't in model-type physical conditioning.

The Y just got all new equipment a little over a week ago. At least
we'll all be on the same learning curve.

Next Tuesday is registration for the Bead & Button Show and I'll be home after the gym while my Manager works for me until early afternoon. I'm already looking forward to my classes, although they're effin' expensive, but I'll have fun playing with fire and metal once again. I made my hotel reservations in December so I'm set. Now, if I get a roommate, then all will be totally fabulous.

I want to take this class - a hollow ring with shaped inlaid stone. Fun!

This is short and succinct, but I want to grab a bit of breakfast and then head off to get my errands done for the day. I hope all of you had a wonderful New Year's Eve and that this new year we are all beginning brings us joy, fulfillment, and only strengthens the bonds of friendship and love. Happy Friday!
