Snow and Ice Can be Beautiful

In Minnesota we have to like ice and snow, so in honor of last night's snowfall, I am presenting iceberg pictures extraordinaire for your Monday morning enjoyment.

We finally got a substantial snowfall again yesterday after more than a month of small flurries or just cold temperatures. The snow was my favorite kind - nice and fluffy, light and sparkling like little diamonds in the light. I will have to deal with the snow plow detritus this morning and am less than happy about having to shovel that, but all in all, it was considerate of this snowfall to occur on a Sunday and be such a nice one.

I was hoping to get some work done on my Bechdel challenge story over the weekend and just couldn't raise the enthusiasm for it. It's due on the 31st, so I will have to get it completed, but it's close, so worst comes to worst, I'll finish it up on Wednesday. I did start a new story for possible publication, though. The opening paragraphs jumped into my head last night and I spent a quick half-hour at the keyboard and got it started. This one has potential, so I'll have to wait and see if I can make it happen.

I've had people asking me about when Dragonthology will be available in formats other than Kindle. I asked the publisher and they said that beginning on the 31st of March it will be available for Nook as well as e-pub. Apparently they have a 90-day exclusive promotional contract with Amazon before general release. So I'll let everyone know when it broadens the platform, I promise.

And returning to the snow, I decided to share iceberg photos with all of you today because they are such amazingly beautiful wonders of our world.
