Trust and Thanks

So I now begin my journey towards my 59th birthday. Eeek! It is such a large number. I grew up as a child of the 1960's and don't think I've ever truly left my hippie days behind. One of the sentiments that we said so blithely in those days was to never trust anyone over the age of 30. Well, I've left that age far behind me. I guess I can't trust myself any more. Hmmm....

I got home from work to find a single red rose, a lovely card, and DH cooking a dinner of wild-rice stuffed chicken breasts, flavored rice, and green beans almondine. With fancy cupcakes for a birthday dessert, it was a perfect end to a very nice day. I have to send thanks out to so many of my f-list and other friends. If I miss your name, it's not because I didn't appreciate your good wishes, it's because I messed up and your name should be here!

lindahoyland and kymahalei sent me beautiful e-cards. Thanks to both of you so very much, they were simply wonderful.
