Monday - Off and Running

This is the beginning of a very busy week, but so fun. My tire has been losing air steadily. It's a slow leak, but a constant one. The tire is new - purchased slightly over a year ago - so I'll have to phone the company and see what they can do about it. I have a road trip on Thursday and I need this handled.

After my horrific fall last week, I saw my Chiropractor on Monday. Because he knows I have osteoporosis and I'm not a spring chicken any more, he scheduled to see me again today, just a week between the appointments instead of my usual two weeks. My lower back was really bothering me at the memorial service and open house, so I'll be happy to get another adjustment. My body will be happy, happy.

This pic is the new library built by Century College last year.  I won't be taking classes
on campus, but it's a nice looking building.

And in my continuing quest to improve my writing skills I signed up for an on-line class on "Advanced Fiction Writing" that begins in mid-May, continuing through mid-July. I get two lessons a week and the class syllabus covered many items that I really want to work on - Point of View, tenses, character development, plot vs story, etc. I'm looking forward to it. Guess I'm involved in writing still - I would have never guessed this when I was younger. I wrote a lot, but never had aspirations to be a fiction writer. It's all good :-)
