Apportioning Time

I am always saying that I don't have time to do this or that.  Although it is true that my time is packed, I also choose what I want to spend my time on.  I want to spend more time at my sketchbook, but to do that I will have to give up some of my computer time.  I really love the time I spend on my computer - it helps to keep my stress levels (always too high) a bit lower and has given me friends and acquaintences world-wide.  I think that is simply lovely - to have people around the world that I can talk with day after day.  I will live forever because I always have things on my to-do list .

Drawing is so much fun when we are kids, when
do we lose that happiness and wonder?

I downloaded a new program over the weekend that I hope will improve my drawing skills.  It is called Accurasee and is a system for placing a grid over a picture so that drawings of that picture can be more accurate.  I have used this gridding system before when I was first teaching myself to draw and it works quite well.  It is now something available for computer, and I think it may be quite useful.  Now I just have to find a bit of time to play with it and see if I can improve my skills and my vision, and also continue practicing because I love to draw.  Even if I can't retire for another 10 years or more, if I can continue drawing and having interesting friends, I'll be OK.  So, if you have time....do something creative today for me!
