Time to Get "With It"

Well, it's time to get going on my next project.  This one won't be a physical project - this one is a get-together to celebrate/mourn the 40th birthday of my friend Chickie.  She provided me with a list of names and Email addresses of her friends earlier this year and I promised her that I would arrange her party for her.  In the past, although people have promised to arrange her birthday parties for her, they have not carried through and she ended up planning her own.  That's just WRONG.  So I volunteered to take over this for her 40th - after all, that's one of those milestone birthdays.  So I'll Email her list and invite her friends to the funeral....oops...birthday party.  It should be fun.

The week started out with great sales numbers, but the past two days have been dismal!  We really need to pull in some cash, so I'll be smudging in the store this morning.  I never mind smudging - it's always good to do something prayerful and purifying.  And it always helps to center me and help me rethink my values regarding physical vs spiritual.  Many years ago, when faced with a crossroads of choosing to follow a spiritual path or walk next to my DH and assist him in his goals on a physical path, after much thought I chose to work with my DH.  A path once chosen cannot be regretted or unchosen, although twists and turns can happen in the road.  But sometimes I wonder how my life would have gone had I chosen the spiritual path.  I suspect I would not be writing this today if I had.  Make wise decisions today.
