Planning the Next Project

So, as I mentioned yesterday, I completed my Beading For A Cure project and now am thinking about what project to do next.  I need to work with my Art Clay Copper to make charms for the PMC Conference at the end of the month, and to try the material out and see what I think.  I usually enamel my charms so I need to think of something quick, simple, and attractive for that which will go quickly since my time is quite limited.  I only have two studio days before I leave because of scheduling around Chickie's vacation time, and I could maybe squeeze in a Sunday although I try and reserve Sundays for my DH.
Crash in the peloton

Le Tour de France is turning into a crash-fest so far.  Major crashes on Stage 1 and Stage 2 have really affected the peloton.  Yesterday's crash pulled so many riders out of contention that they gathered together and all rode through the finish line in a group as a protest, instead of individually racing for position.  Today they will hit cobblestones...THAT should be interesting - LOL.

And I have to attend a baby shower for one of my nieces this evening.  Social events like this are really not my forte - I would much rather be home watching my episode of Dangerous Catch for the week.  But no, I need to be social and a good Aunt.  I got an item from her Target baby registry on Sunday, it is wrapped and ready to go.  The card has been signed, the gift receipt has been enclosed, and I've tried to find on-line directions to the house.  I've been at the house once before, but it is a bit tricky to find and everything starts at 6:30 this evening.  I'll be there closer to 7:00 - I can't close the shop early just because I have a baby shower to attend.  She's due to deliver a baby girl on the 15th - I'm actually very happy for her and Nick, she'll be a fantastic Mom.
