Monday on a Foreshortened Week

So, what did you do this weekend?  I only have Sunday for my weekend, but here's what I did on the creative and not so creative end.
Creatively I beaded on my Beading For A Cure project.  I'm really happy with the direction it's going.  I probably will take it to Bead & Button so that I can continue working on it there - I have a couple of days with no classes and if I spend all of the time on the sales floor I'll spend money that I don't have and buy things that I don't need.  Of course, I still haven't packed anything and one of my classes requires some of my metalworking supplies, I'd better get my a__ in gear soon :-)  Later we went to Barnes & Noble to take a look at what was new in magazines.  I'm really obsessing over getting a Nook.  I have a lot of applications in mind for it and it could make my research much easier.  I'm on the fence because of the cost.  So I'll have to wait and see what my workshops this summer will actually cost me.  If I have enough money left after they are complete, I'll allow myself to get one.  I'll keep researching the Nook vs the Kindle, but I'm really leaning towards the Nook.  I did pick up an oldfashioned book on bookbinding that had some things that weren't covered in my other two bookbinding books.  I figured I could afford $12 :-)
Non-creatively I scrubbed my shower to within an inch of its' life.  It took four hours.  The shower is completely tiled and I went over each and every grout line with my sonic cleaner, followed by hard water cleaner, followed by mildew remover, followed by scrubbing powder.  I tackled one wall at a time and it took four hours to get the walls and floor taken care of.  I didn't do the ceiling - just ran out of energy.
I leave on Wednesday for the Bead & Button Show in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  I won't be posting while I'm there, although I will be reading my Emails and keeping up with my workload.  So I'll post today and tomorrow and then, on Wednesday, I'll be on the road again.  My car and I are looking forward to it.
