500 and Still Going Strong!

I'm pretty amazed.  For being a person who has never successfully kept a journal or diary, this post is my 500th post in this creative blog.  I remind my readers (I'm always rather amazed that I have readers) that I write this blog for myself - to review my day, to explore my creativity, and occasionally to rant about events of the day or the stupidity of people (I don't rant very often - I'm a pretty optimistic person).  But I write this blog for myself and if any of you get something out of it, I'm thrilled and honored and absolutely humbled. 

Last night Chickie, her Mom and I went to see the final Shrek movie.  It was really cute - a fitting end to the franchise.  I heard that they are making a moving featuring Puss for next year which would be delightful.  Puss is a great character.  But the writers were on their game and there was the predictable happy ending which is how all fairy tales should end.  Tonight I will be able to get back to some beading on my BFAC project and I am also starting to think about what to pack for next week's Bead & Button Show trip.  I know a lot of people in my area here who are planning to go to Milwaukee for a day or two only - nice quick shopping trips.  A couple of others are attending their first classes.  I hope to meet up with many friends while there, and have passed my cell phone number to them.  It would be wonderful if I could spend the time talking with my friends and so many other creative people - it's what makes the show worthwhile for me.
