Back to Normal - So to Speak

Easter was wonderful. My DH was determined to give me a great holiday, so he took care of me all day - made it a "Sandi's Day", so to speak. He made a fantastic breakfast and then we went on-line to continue our Spring Festival quests in Lord of the Rings Online. Approximately a year or so ago, they introduced houses in the game. These houses could be purchased and then had a weekly maintenance fee. In them, you could decorate, you could keep a storage chest, and you could visit whenever you wanted, purchase supplies at a reduced price from the vendors in your housing area, etc. A little plot of your own in the world of Middle Earth. My DH bought me a house, furnished it with a storage chest, and paid the first six weeks of maintenance on it. He bought one for himself next door to me. It's so fun! It's in the elven settlement of Duillond, and I'm VERY happy with the gift. After a few hours of playing, he made dinner for me, and then we watched TV separately (since we wanted to watch different things) until the final portion of Celebrity Apprentice which we watched together while having dessert. It was a perfect day.
Today starts another week with many goals to reach and lots to do. Beading For A Cure auctions are once again operational with eight new items this week. Take a look at this wonderful necklace by Gretchen Coats. I know this would be a wonderful addition to your wardrobe, so I encourage you to bid on this necklace, or take a look at all of the eight items up for auction this week and place a bid on one of the others. Help us help in the cause of erradicating colorectal cancer.
