450 and Counting

I just passed 450 posts on this blog. That simply amazes me. I started this blog as an opportunity to get my thoughts together and focus on something creative as I started each day. The fact that I actually have friends, acquaintences, and people who I've never met actually reading this daily humbles me. I only hope that I have brought occasional joy and beauty to all of you as I have walked this road of self-exploration and amazement. Today is my studio day, my list of errands is long, but I plan to play with watercolors this afternoon, as well as continue cleaning and organizing my craft room (which desperately needs it) so that I can find some tools that I'm looking for. I'm also going to order some paints for silk painting since that is part of an ongoing project that I'm working on right now. Busy, busy, and how fun!
My computer has been spitting at me. When I power up in the mornings and at night, it has not been recognizing my printer as installed. Since the same printer that seemed to be working excellently not a day previous has not changed, it is a software glitch. It seems to be related to iTunes, so I finally broke down and installed the latest version. Hopefully my computer will start up properly next time. In the meantime, I had to use my DH's computer to print my shipping labels for my mail orders this morning. Very inconvenient!
To see beauty, just look at these two Beading For A Cure items that are available on our auctions this week. The top necklace is by Nikia Angel, the bottom scissors case is by Cynthia S Bicker; such talented people. These items can be yours, just click on this link to get to our auctions and place your bid. The items are only available for this week - next week we'll have a new group of eight items for your bids.
