I'm Cold and Lucky - Can't Have Everything

The temp outside is single digit. Can I just complain for a short time about that happening in November instead of January? WTF??? I think Mother Nature is entering a hormone-challenged part of her life because we're supposed to be in the 40's by Friday/Saturday. The swings of nature are upon us and it's next to impossible to accurately gauge what to wear to the gym and what to wear for work. Ugh!!!

I'm just not into a winter mode yet, although I switched over
to my winter parka a few weeks ago. Still ... it's November. It's
not supposed to be in the single digits yet!

My friend said the crystals were not Swarovski, which is fine. I didn't want to misidentify them when I finally get a chance to put them up for sale. They're more likely a German pressed glass piece, equally beautiful, rather entrancing in real life, and a bit "softer" edge than leaded crystal would carry. They're still quite beautiful and I'm sure they'll sell nicely.

So, they're not Swarovski, but they're still quite
beautiful and I know they are vintage. I'll get some
decent photos after the holiday season and start
listing some things on Etsy.

While purchasing an order on Sunday night, DH and I realized the credit card we were using was expired. I hadn't recalled receiving the new one anytime, so I phoned customer service who cancelled the old number and are sending out new cards to us. We had to use a different card for this shipment, but it's not the end of the universe. Fortunately we don't have any auto-payments on the card we had tried to use, so it's not entailing a lot of ridiculous changes, and we haven't had any unauthorized activity on the card either. We got lucky.

We got lucky. I'm sure the card company sent new
cards to us, but I don't think we got them, or I
shredded them by mistake. Either way, at least
this was a quick fix.

So, since I'm running late and it's cold outside, I'm calling this done for the day. I'm bundling up for the gym and will defrost doing my daily workout. Too bad it's a bike day - bike days never register accurately on my wrist fitness band. Still, I know what I'm doing and I'm definitely sweating and have a higher heart rate, so all's good. Have a great Tuesday - stay warm and be happy! I'll return tomorrow.
