Thanks to all of you who emailed and commented on yesterday's post. DH was happy to have the procedure over and done with and he should be hearing from his doctor no later than Monday. On first look, however, nothing unusual was evident, so that's good news. One really good thing is DH's blood pressure. It seems that the doctor finally got the right dosage on his pills and even with the stress of the biopsy, his blood pressure has been in a safe range. He still checks it at least once a day and takes his meds if needed, but we may finally have conquered that mountain.
I had every intention of getting a cabin for April's NaNoWriMo, but looking at where things are at with my personal schedule and what I need to accomplish this next month, I think that adding one more thing would be overkill and potential disaster. As much as I wanted to do Camp NaNo in April, I'm pushing camp off until the summer session when I hope many of the things I have on my platter will be resolved and in my history instead of impending. Sorry for those of you looking to join my cabin, but I think July will be a better shot for me.
One of the positive things about going with DH to the clinic yesterday was getting an appointment to see my dermatologist. I need a refill on my prescription and usually it's an unbelievable hassle to get in to see her. To my complete shock, I was able to get an appointment next Wednesday morning! In my years of going to the clinic to see her, I've never had less than a six-week wait time. To get in within a week was jaw-dropping. Yeah me! LOL.
So as I wrap this up for pics, I thank each of you for your support and kind words once again. My own stress levels were lowered because of your kindness. Happy Thursday everyone!

So Late & So Much To Do! - BUSY!
My in-box was filled with all sorts of emails that I actually had to deal with - print, process, follow up on. Before I knew it, I was running late and that's how this day is going to go. I have my new charge terminal which I want installed and tested before I open the store. I have to go to the gym and the bank before I open, and I have an appointment with a security consultant right when I unlock my doors. It's going to be a crazy few hours here.
I had every good intention yesterday. I wanted to get some computer work done. Scan some more books, Measure my car's cargo bay for a possible interior protection component. Do some writing. Do some beta work. Open my Camp NaNoWriMo cabin. And of course, the usual - grocery shopping, laundry, etc. I did the usual because groceries and laundry are very important in my life. But I needed a day of down time - things have been very stressful. So instead of doing any of my computer work, I buried my nose in a NookBook - "The Burning Room" by Michael Connelly, to be precise. I adore his Harry Bosch character. So I read. I didn't write, I didn't beta, I barely read my on-line notifications. I read a novel. I'll regret it today, but enjoyed the bit of down time.
Today will be a LOT different. Today I'll be at the shop. I'll be working with customers, tagging and putting away new and restocked merchandise, talking with vendors about supplies and problems, and hopefully resolving some long-standing issues. I'll stir-fry some chicken for dinner and then go on-line to file the sales tax report with the state for the month. And finally I'll pour into bed and try and get some sleep because I'm already tired just thinking about my day - LOL.
I hope your day will be a bit more relaxed than mine will probably be. Have a wonderful Thursday and I'll be back, a bit less rushed, tomorrow.

I enjoy Michael Connelly's gnarly Harry Bosch character. I haven't watched the TV series (don't get the specialty cable stations), but I've always enjoyed reading and listening to the books.

Right now I'm just being pulled in too many directions. That will calm down, but not until the end of the month. Eeeek!

No grass growing on my busy mind. But sometimes it would be nice to have a bit of space in which to breathe. Today will NOT be a breathing day.

Good Intentions But Poor Execution
I had the best of intentions, but then again, I can't blame the weather gods and they can take their sweet time to bring today's snow over my house. I awakened a bit earlier than usual for the purpose of shoveling whatever snow had accumulated before I left for the gym, but according to my weather app on my smartphone, the flakes won't begin to fly until I'm actually at the gym. I'll have to shovel when I come home to switch my gym bag for my laptop bag, but that should go quickly (my hair will be wet and I'll already be dressed for work, so that part will be a pain).
I finished the first draft of my first B2MeM story last night while watching "The Voice". I'll continue the editing when I get to the shop today and after that, I'll start the next one. I did buy one more yesterday and need to review several. I'm farthing heavy, but know I have to pace myself with my writing to make sure I finish what I choose. I'll try and read through the prompts again today or tomorrow and see if anything else won't let me sleep unless I write the tale.
We got a huge shipment in at the shop so Chickie will be busy, busy, getting things counted and packed. DH may go out with 'the boys' late this afternoon. It's been several weeks since they last got together and he's missing them a bit. In my "between" time (yeah right! I can hear the snorts from here), I have a jewelry project that I'd like to begin. I just got the supplies in on Friday so I can get started now, but then this little thing called B2MeM sauntered into my life. *sigh* Who am I kidding? I love to write, so that always seems to take precedence.
So on that note, and because I still need to get a few things nailed before leaving for the gym today, I bid all of you a fond farewell for the day and wish you a good Tuesday. OH!!! Before I forget, Camp NaNoWriMo starts in April for the month. I'll be opening a private cabin again and would love to share it with some of you. Goals for Camp are easy - you can state a word quantity for the month, or just a daily number or work on revision or a WIP. All things are allowed in Camp, so think about what you would like to accomplish during April and see if you'd be interested in sharing my cabin. There are only twelve people per cabin and I had a great group last camp.

Once again I'll be snow shoveling, but it won't be major today, only 3"-5" total. It's been a very mild, if extremely cold, winter for us so I can't complain.

There's just something about getting a group of boys together at a bar that just spells out 'trouble' and 'stupid', often together in the same sentence.
