Things Are Improving - I've Got the Fair On My Mind

DH spent a bit of time looking for his car charger yesterday morning, and found not just one, but two! Now he has one in the truck and I have one in Minion. Next crisis averted (except his phone is almost an antique and charges VERY slowly, so recharging from dead within an hour won't be a possibility for him. Still, one thing managed and mood vastly improved. 

Apparently, when DH got the truck, he pulled everything
from Ghost, but forgot to replace them into the new
vehicle. The charging cords have been in a box on the
shelf in the breezeway for almost a year. Problem
solved now, though. 

He'll be grumpy on and off through the week, since he has to work for me from Thursday on, but he'll survive because Sharon is coming to visit and he enjoys her visits as much as I do. It's been an unusually cold summer, though. I guess we sent all of the heat east so that my friends on the East Coast would be sweltering. My apologies, ... nah. We'll take the cooler weather for a change, even though it will require long-sleeves and jackets for the Fair. 

It's not often DH has to work for me. Only in June when I attend the
Bead & Button Show, and again at the Labor Day weekend when
Sharon comes to town and we go to the State Fair. 

I wanted a backpack for the Fair. I've wanted one for years. I broke down and checked out Target on-line and found the perfect one, purchased it, and it's scheduled for delivery on Wednesday. DH will shake his head, but I think I'm really going to enjoy this Denver Broncos backpack. LOL 

I was looking at two different Broncos backpacks,
but I think I ended up with this one because
I liked the interior better. Guess I'll find out
for sure when the package arrives - LOL. 

I want to pack some warm things, as well as the basics like my powerblock for my cell phone. Damned thing weighs a ton, but I can't imagine being out for an extended day in a place I want to take lots of photos without that power boost. Can't always find a plug to recharge, but the power block is always available. I can also stash my Broncos jacket if I get too warm. Yeah - a backpack will be the perfect solution and great for my posture. 

Chickie tried one of these when she was at the State Fair on
Sunday. The Carnitas Taco looked pretty good. I'll ask her how
it was when I see her later today. 

If you can't tell, my thoughts are already focused on the State Fair. Today is the last day of work for a week, and I'm relishing that fact, even though Wednesday and much of Thursday will be filled with cleaning and vacuuming, and more cleaning. It's all good.
