A Very Hectic Day

Today is hectic, to say the least. Swim, return home and start one load of laundry, head out to the eye doctor, then get my eyes examined and dilated. Of course that means that I won't be able to drive safely until my kitten eyes have gone back down to human, setting my schedule behind by 1-3 hours. I'm just hoping that I won't have traffic issues to and from the eye doctor because that would REALLY make a mess of things. I'm making sure I bring my current audio book and some earbuds along with me because I'll be tempted to drive before I should if I don't.

My eyeglasses are all unique frames. The top pair
with the metal slices going down the earpieces, are
what I wear now. The other two pairs were treats
to myself for my 50th birthday. All three frames
are custom and quite unique.

I have three pairs of eyeglass frames that I've treated myself to over the years. When I need new lenses, I send them off to a firm in the Eastern US and have them re-lensed. I can get them done here too, but what's $100-$150 per pair out East is $300 or so each up here. I'll send them off for this. I'm hoping that I'll have new, up-to-dates eyeglasses by the end of April. That'll make me very happy. It's not fast turn-around, but it is necessary.

Today is going to be rather like driving into the whirlwind.
It's not going to be a horrible day, just an extremely busy
and hectic one.

So today is hectic, at least for the morning. I'm really looking forward to getting all of my errands completed and settling down to my weekly convo with Aearwen. I'm hoping at least SOME of my laundry will be finished by then.

Short and sweet today before I dive into the maelstrom. Here's hoping you have a fabulous and a bit less busy day than I will, oh - and my dental appointment went excellent. No issues at all. Happy Wednesday to all!
