Argh - Just ARGH!

It's the little things that drive me crazy. Most of Tuesday was spent growling at my home computer which suddenly decided that my printer was not talking to it. It was as if two best friends had a fight in school and now are playing on opposite ends of the playground because they don't want to see or talk to one another. Unfortunately, when it comes to printers, I need this resolved. Quickly! Every fix I've tried doesn't seem to be working. I can limp along saving docs to my Dropbox and printing them at work off my laptop, but that's not really a fix, it's just a work-around. It won't work for all of the documents I will need to print for my year-end taxes, etc. *sigh* Sometimes I just hate computers ...

Although this isn't my screen, I totally feel for this person. I think
we're experiencing the same pain!

The next thing that's driving me crazy is the flu or cold bug that's been working its' way through my area. When dealing with the public on a daily basis, there isn't a choice - you're going to come into contact with people who might pass colds along ... an extra "benefit" of working in a shop or restaurant. Chickie has been sick for a week or two, and my Manager came down with this on Monday. He was at the shop with me yesterday, but basically sat in the back room, his warm coat on, and didn't come out until I needed a second person on the sales floor at 5:30 pm. He's off today, although he wasn't scheduled to be. I'm walking the knife edge of this illness, hoping I can escape it but I'm not sure I'll be that lucky. Maybe the pool will help kill the germs.

I'm hoping I can hold the cold off, although I'm
not sure I'll be that lucky. It's completely floored
my Manager, and my Assistant Manager isn't
doing well either. Oh joy!

If all three of us come down with this, I'll have to close the shop for a few days to give all of us time to recover and get back on our feet. That's an expense and an inconvenience for our customers, and I'm trying hard to not have that happen. SO annoying!

I've tried just about everything to clear up disc space
on my D drive, but it's not working. I'm pounding my
head against a wall on this one.

Back to my computer - I have a TB drive as a secondary drive, but it's almost out of space. I keep getting "Low Disk Space" notifications, but I'm not really sure what to do about them. I'm going to butt my head against this soon, I'll need another audio book for my morning swim within a few days and the last time I tried to download something new, it didn't accept it.

There certainly are times when a do-over button seems
like it would be the perfect solution.

Does anyone want my life? Can I have a do-over? There are just some days that scream that I should move into a cave and roll a boulder across the opening, closing out the world with all of it's wonderful positives and horrible negatives.

On that note of complaint, I'm going to get some pictures up here and call it a morning. Argh ... just ARGH!!! Here's hoping your Thursday is a little less drama-filled than mine seems to be.
