Weekend on my Mind

It's Saturday. I'm really grateful :-) Chickie has her second day at her workshop today, so it's just Jim and I working solo today. But it's been a slow week, so I think we'll be fine. And he does work with the public when he needs to, and can do it very well. And the other excellent point about Saturdays is pasta for dinner. Yippee!
I have to squeeze in some time for a quick scan into my Photoshop this morning. I should have done it last night, but I was lazy. Sometimes lazy is OK - I'm overworked right now and a bit stressed, so I gave myself permission to have a few lazy hours. I just can't allow them to become my way of life. I hope that you give yourself an opportunity to be lazy sometimes also. It's important to have that opportunity to allow the brain and subconscious to wander without steering. That's where great ideas and new projects can come from. Indulge yourself this weekend and allow yourself to have a short period of laziness. You'll love the way that it can show through in your personal creative work down the road. (I love my "lazy" picture - just have to imagine it without bugs...LOL.)
