Three days of hard work loom in front of me. That's because Chickie is attending a conference for the next two days, so I'll be working with Jim only for Friday, Saturday and our usual Monday. It's not that Jim isn't capable of working. He works well - on his own agenda. He is not what I would call a good team player. Chickie and I have developed a great team-tag method of working over the years and we can easily bounce customers from one to the other and pick up the slack for each other. Jim has never been able to mesh well with that. So he'll help a customer, but he won't help more than the one. If we're busy, I end up overextended because I need him to work with more than one customer and he is incapable of it. I'll get my revenge on the Chickie when I take my vacations this summer though.
So I reprinted my images for etching yesterday morning. I'll try to get the images transferred by the end of the weekend. I did print two copies this time, just in case I don't get a good transfer. When the system works, it works extremely well. It's just a matter of getting my act together and getting the images onto the metal. I'm really looking forward to this though. I always have loved etching and I'll be pushing my envelope by not only etching the copper that I've worked with for years, but also etching silver for the first time. It's always fun to learn something new. I hope you have an opportunity to learn something new today - learning helps keep the brain active, so help your brain get some exercise today!
