Project Musings

I finally chose the color/bead that I will use with my Beading For A Cure 2011 kit. It took a long time and more than 25 preliminary choices to make the final determination. Now that I have figured out what bead to add, I'm determining the actual size/configuration of my project and exactly how I want to put things together. I can start small though, with some preliminary pieces that will be used no matter what. Tomorrow will be spent with financial papers for my tax appointment next week, but I can start beading fairly soon and determine if my vision will actually live in reality.

I'm finding it very difficult to use the pallette of colors that were chosen. They are quite dark and there is very little color differentiation. Although many people who purchased the kit have said that they love the colors, I must admit I am not one of them. Therefore, it is my job to make sure that I make something out of these that I DO like, and that means really working on the project itself as well as chosing the one additional bead that will work well with it. At least I have put the preliminary steps on that road.
