Well, it's Wednesday, and that means it is Studio Day. I ony hope I have the opportunity to actually get some creative work done. The first things on my agenda are decidedly NOT creative. They revolve around finances since my personal income tax appt is scheduled for next week. That means that my printer will be working overtime today printing out all of my statements for last year from my Scottrade account and I will be getting all of my investment and expense receipts for classes and materials together so that I have the information for "Da Mama" when I see her on Tuesday. I also have to reinvest a CD, get some new checks ordered, and get a few bills paid on-line since I'm out of checks in that account. (Of course, I also have to find the darned checkbook for this account which isn't in the usual place that I always keep it!)
If I get all of that finished, I can continue working on my conceptions and trials for my 2011 BFAC piece. I started one sample yesterday and I think it will work, but questions need to be asked - can I cut down on the time necessary for each of the smaller elements, and what else can I add to this that will make the project really live? At least I won't need to beta for Iris today. She was pressed for time, so I flew through the weekly beta last night instead so that she had the rest of her week open. Yes...I can perform under pressure - LOL. The picture above is one more of this week's Beading For A Cure auction pieces. This one is by Karin Salomon, bid often, bid high. Here's the auction link.
