We Must Be Positive...

Life affords us choices. We can choose to look at it through dark glasses, looking at the negative or focusing on such small pieces of the greater glory that the items we look at lose their resonance. Or we can look at the greater picture, the rising sun...the smile of a baby...the glow of the stars. Through this greater picture we can then put that certitude that we are all important in our own way and affect others in ways we can never perceive in totality, and then we can illuminate those small minutae of our lives. Too deep and philosophical for you? Tough! Maybe sometimes those philosophical questions need to be analyzed and contemplated for the good of our fea or our souls.
Or maybe I'm just waxing philosophical today because I meet with my accountant tonight for my annual income tax return appointment and I know that in the boxloads of crap I'll pull together for her today, I will have forgotten something. It is inevitable. But I hope I'll be going to breakfast with a friend and her wonderful new baby tomorrow. And since my friend lives near my accountant, I'll be able to drop off anything I may have forgotten :-) So, I will allow my philosophy and my love of life and this fantastic world to color my attitude today and I will not allow other's mediocrity to influence and pull down my rainbow into their mundane greys and browns. I will, rather, hope that my rainbow today may cause others to find the colors in their own fea and be the better for it. Valar valuvar.
