A Miracle (So To Speak)

I have a long history of having 90% of the information that my accountant needs when I meet with her for my personal income taxes preparation. I had been meaning to get my numbers and papers together for her on Wednesday (didn't happen) and on Sunday (didn't happen). My appointment was scheduled for last night, so yesterday morning I spent a rather crazy 15 minutes gathering papers and took everything to the shop with me.
Papers and invoices spread over my counters at the shop, I was finally able to organize things by year (only that bad in my miscellaneous expenses folder) and get everything refiled. I added up each category of expenses and alphabetized my invoices paid. I set up my folders for the current year and got everything repacked. And....miracle of miracles....I actually had every piece of paper and expense/deduction number for her that night. I actually don't have to drop by her office today and give her the one piece that I forgot, etc. Now I have to get everything filed properly today and I think I'll let myself celebrate by spending some time beading on my Beading For A Cure project and enameling some of the components (or doing the color checks for the components).

Have you checked out the current crop of Beading For A Cure items up for auction on eBay? There are some tremendous items available for sale. New items go up every Sunday afternoon through the end of April and the proceeds are donated to help elliviate the horrors of colorectal cancer. Please look and bid if something catches your eye. Everyone benefits from high bids. (Pictured project made by Dulcey Heller and available for bid this week.)
