A Catch-Up Post and Thank You's

Just a short post today because time isn't my friend. I'll start off by saying that ALL of my holiday cards have now been mailed - the hand-made ones and the replacement cards. I think there were eight replacement cards that I sent, at least one overseas, the rest domestic. As I said in the inclusion letter, I'm keeping track of your names and addresses and if I find the missing 10 cards, I'll send them on to you, no matter when I find them. But, at least you're getting something from me.

These days I'm receiving holiday cards from my
friends throughout the world and it truly
brightens my day. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

Yesterday was a day for international cards at my house. I received cards from two beloved friends of long years - my friend and former workshop roomie Shruti in India, and my dear friend and cat-Mom in England, Rose. Thank you both for your lovely cards. They really brightened my heart. As always, I'm so grateful for the many friends I've made in person and on-line. My life would be poorer without you.

Thanks to all who have sent holiday cards to me. I certainly
don't require them, but it's so nice to receive them. Having
one (or more) in my mailbox always brightens my day.

I wanted to get DH's new eyeglasses ordered, but ended up with some questions on his prescription, and I also needed his card for payment, so I had to put it off until Friday. That's Friday's task, though. He really needs a new set. He only gets his glasses from Zenni, and he gets the same frame style every time, so it's an easy one if I have all of the information *sigh*.

I can't do much about getting new eyeglasses
for DH without all of the information from
him. Including payment! Very necessary.

I also bought a couple of gift cards for friends over the holidays. It's so difficult to know what people want or need at this time of the year, and these are actually for people I give to generously throughout the year, so I don't feel guilty getting them gift cards. They can use them. I firmly believe that giving is a year-long activity, not just reserved for a single month/week/day/date. So, on that note, because I'm running late, I'm wrapping this up. I'm wearing one of my new skin suits today, and can't wait to see how it looks in the pool. Have an excellent Thursday and I'll be back tomorrow. Slava Ukraini and חיים למען ישראל.
