Finally a "Normal" Wednesday - Busy, Busy, Busy

Finally, a "normal" Wednesday. That means it's packed with stuff to get done, and there's already a load of laundry running, even though it's only 3:45 am. Yeah - a "normal" Wednesday indeed. I have, as usual, a BUNCH of stuff to try and get done today, with the addition of looking for something that might not even exist in the art supply stores near me. Of course, it's never a hardship to shop at the art supply store, but I do have to envelope it into other things today, which can be challenging.

If I've got the time, I'll indulge in a trip to "Wet Paint" art
supply store. The closer store to me is "Dick Blick's", but
"Wet Paint" is a truly lovely local store with a huge stock.
If anyone can help me find what I'm looking for, it
will probably be these guys.

I was able to load my next audio book onto my waterproof headphones, so I'm set to go in the pool today. It's always a bummer when a book ends and I still have laps to go, which was the case yesterday. But I knew I was getting towards the end of my current book, and to progress, one thing must end for the next thing to begin. As the saying/song goes: "To everything there is a season".

Winter is coming, I can feel it in the air. The hounds
of Winter are stirring. It's still Autumn, though, and
some days in Fall can be beautiful up here in the Frozen
Northlands. I'm hoping for one of those days today.

The hockey game last night was excellent and a lot of fun to watch. I always love watching Montreal, but it's even better when my Wild can pull off a decisive win. Totally entertaining. Although it's quite early in the season, the players are starting to gel as a team again, and individual players are getting comfortable with their team-mates and line-mates. They're getting settled and starting to trust in each other, and Marc-Andre Fleury was wonderful in net, even doing some acrobatic windmills with his entire body one time. Fun!

Marc-Andre Fleury was brilliant in nets last night, making
some spectacular and acrobatic saves against the
Canadians. It was a fun game to watch, at least until
I had to go to sleep. We won, which also makes me happy.

So, I'm going to head out to the pool and get this busy day off to a good start. The first load of laundry is washing, my day is starting to gel in my head, and I have groceries to buy and things to do. It should be a fun one, and capped off by my weekly convo with Aearwen - always a pleasure. She just ordered a fold-down table which will be delivered toward the end of the month, so she's got a bit more clearing to do in the new place before the wall she wants it at is completely clear. It's never ending, but eventually she'll be totally unpacked and moved into her new place. Have an excellent Wednesday and I'll be back tomorrow. Slava Ukraini and חיים למען ישראל.
