Sharon Arrives Tomorrow and Today Is MAJOR Busy - Ugh!

Today is a seriously rushed day, which started out with plenty of stumbles. *sigh* Sharon arrives tomorrow afternoon, so my clock is into the final hours of house prep. Today is a "normal" Wednesday, however. That means three loads of laundry, changing the bed linens, and in addition, I need to get Sharon's bed set up and made. I still have clean-up to do, and vacuuming to do, and on top of everything else, I have a 7:30 am Orthodontic appointment and I need to drop a Priority Mail package at the Post Office and do grocery shopping. *breath*. Oh, and my stockbroker is scheduled for his quarterly 9:00 am phone call, AND it's trash and recycling day, so I have to get the trash and recycling buckets out of the garage and put at the curb by 8:00 am. 

I'll be doing a lot of this - LOL. I'll be up and down, 
and all around town. It's going to be a crazy day. 

I suspect I'll sleep really well tonight because I'll be bleeping exhausted! LOL. Oh! And to top it all off, we had no internet service when I awakened, although it came back shortly after I went downstairs and did a quick reset at my mains. I ended up doing my morning meditation in my computer chair instead of on my couch, which actually was quite comfortable. I might repeat that location again. 

I do plan to be effective in my busy day, not just running 
around for the sake of breathing that oxygen. LOL What's 
the difference? Take a look. I need to be effective too. 

But, now I'm settling down for 1/2 hour of quiet time to get my blog posted, drink at least one cup of herbal tea, and calm down for a serious few minutes of getting my paperwork together for what I need to accomplish today, and organizing my thoughts so that I don't forget something vital (like setting up Sharon's bed - LOL. That's actually pretty vital.) 

It's just going to be one of those days. I was hoping to avoid 
the last-minute crunch, but then I fell down the stairs. So ... I 
am paying the price today. I have a LOT that needs to get 
done that I simply wasn't physically able to do last week. 

The shop has been busy. Monday was extremely busy, and Tuesday followed suit. It's mainly people dropping by on their way to the State Fair, or on their way back home. People who maybe don't live in the Cities, or at least in our immediate area, thinking that while they're in the area, they might as well drop by and pick up "a few things". The sales have been good, which is a relief. However ... I'm out of the shop for the next few days and DH isn't as helpful for Chickie as I am, so things will be much harder on her. I hope DH and Chickie get their acts together so that we can all enjoy our time at the State Fair together instead of dealing with unresolved issues.

So, I'm heading up to start my day. I hope all of you have an excellent day. I'll be back tomorrow, then I'll be taking the rest of the week off and won't be back until Tuesday morning (earliest) or maybe even Wednesday morning next week. It's time for a mini-vacation for me too. I'll try to keep up reading whatever you are posting, but I also suspect I'll have a LOT to catch up on in a week. Enjoy, and Slava Ukraini.
