Wow, things are moving REALLY slowly. The Twin Cities, and much of Minnesota (and probably other states as well) are shut down. We're taking today away from the shop (like most places in the Cities) and I'll work tomorrow instead. That messes with my schedule a bit, but I'll just have to manage. Flexibility, that's the key today.
At some point I'll go outside and check to see if we have a newspaper. I rather doubt that we will, the streets are cleared, but treacherous, and we're still in high snowfall until afternoon. Looking at the weather radar, I think things will die down in the late morning and we'll be out of this storm starting at noon or so. Then we'll start the process of digging out.
We're fully into Lent now, and that means DH wants fish on Fridays. Since I adore fish, I'll join him in that. I'm certainly NOT Catholic, not even Christian, but I don't mind fish on Fridays for a few weeks. I bought two lovely salmon fillets, two beautiful pieces of tilapia, and some bacon-wrapped scallops at the store yesterday, so I'm set for several weeks. I also made my soup yesterday, so I have vegetable alternatives as well. Add in a nice salad and I certainly won't starve to death.
So I'm keeping this fast and starting my off-balance day. Have an excellent Thursday and I'll be back for a short post tomorrow before I head off to the YMCA for my Thursday (Friday) swim - LOL. Take care if you're affected by this storm or others around the world, and Slava Ukraini.
