Sharon Arrives Tonight - I'll Be Off-line For A Few Days Now

I got caught up in emails this morning, so I'm running really late. I'll be spending today housecleaning once again, before I pick Sharon up from the airport tonight. We'll be at the State Fair on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and then at the Renaissance Faire on Monday, I'll drop Sharon back at the airport on Tuesday morning before heading back to the shop and back to work.

I got Sharon's bedroom vacuumed and cleaned, and
the bed set up and made. Her robe is waiting on
the bed, there are batteries in the TV remote, and
she's ready to relax.

I don't often have my Rio Grande spinning wheel and my
drum carder (behind the wheel) visible, so I thought
I'd take this opportunity to share two of my favorite
things. I adore this spinning wheel, but it's a very large
item and simply takes too large a footprint to join
my other wheels in the den.

The house is starting to look better, it's not 100% yet, but I did get a lot done yesterday and although I still have a lot to do today, I'm pretty sure I'll be comfortable allowing someone into my home - LOL. I have pictures to share.

The hallway is clean and vacuumed, my
wall of dragons (on the left) still needs
to be dusted. That's on today's agenda.

Sharon's bathroom is completely clean and
settled after the flood on Sunday and the
toilet replacement on Monday. The carpets have
been washed and replaced, and her linens
have also been washed and fluffed.

I'm going to make this post short and sweet. I'll probably still be checking my emails (they stack up too much if I don't tackle them at least once a day, preferably twice). I wish all of you a wonderful few days and I'll be back posting on Tuesday morning.
