Stay at Home - Day 21 - Living On The Edge

It's Saturday, so I had to start out by going over to the store. It's essential to restart the computers for the sales register every week, and to keep things cycling correctly, I always have to do a manual sale for 1 cent. My sales for April now are a grand total of three cents! Wow. I also wanted to pull three mail orders and get their products set aside so that I could process the orders and ship them out on Monday, May 4th when we will finally be allowed to reopen. I pulled what I had in stock (not all items were still available), and set the orders aside.

I adore Ruth Bader Ginsberg and when I saw a shirt with this image
made up of her words, I couldn't resist. I just picked it up from the
Post Office this morning, and after I wash it, I'll wear it proudly.

A quick trip to the Post Office finished my outdoor errands - only two pieces of mail, a bill for the shop, and a new t-shirt for me. I run through t-shirts fairly often, I wear them every day. I'm afraid I'm not much for fashion in my personal life, only in my artistic life. Right now, I'm living in workout pants, t-shirts and hoodies. Very low-maintenance and quite inexpensive - I'm a cheap date - LOL.

Too true, this. I seem to spend a ridiculous amount of time
turning shirts inside out and then back to right side after
pulling them from the dryer.

Just because I'm not dressing up, though, doesn't mean I'm keeping my things dirty. Since I am the Goddess of the Laundry Machines, I determine when I wash my clothes. I usually do my laundry on Wednesdays (whole house laundry) and Saturday (exercise clothing and occasional this-and-that for the next few days). I don't want to wear something I've sweated in more than one time before it gets washed again. Ick ... just ick! I also wash hand towels and my kitchen towels more than once a week. I make sure I have backups for all of those.

These days we're all living on the edge in one
way or another. Still, living on the edge can
give glorious views.

I'm living on the edge, though, until I can get back to my gym and the pool. I get my best exercise in the pool, and even though I hadn't worked back up to my old times, I still know I was doing better than the 20-30 minutes on the treadmill I'm managing at home. I know the few pounds I've put on during quarantine will come off when I'm able to be at the gym again, and I can't wait!

So, on that busy-but-not-busy note, I'm off for the remainder of the weekend. I'll be back on Monday. Stay home, stay safe, stay well.
