Photo Blog for Friday - Street Sculptures

I'm running super late today, so a photo blog it is. Where will my mind take me today?  I know - Street Sculpture. There's an amazing variety of street sculpture out there in the world, so let's wander through countries and see some of them.

This interesting sculpture is in Dallas. It almost seems that the people in
the background pass through the open squares to return to their youth.
Interesting concept.

This fascinating street sculpture is from Wroclaw, Poland. I'm not sure
what it signifies, and the colorful butterflies on the 2nd and 4th characters
mystify me, but the sculpture itself has amazing power.

This really interesting sculpture is from Perth. The blog was featuring
a tour through Scotland, so if there's a Perth in Scotland, this is where it's
from. Otherwise, I have no idea which Perth it is from.

I really love this sculpture in Budapest. It's entitled "Paul Street Boys" and
is based on a novel by the same name by Hungarian writer Ferenc Molnar.

This fantastic sculpture in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is outside of an
office building. The bronze is by Zenos Frudakis. Stunning, isn't it?

And with this sculpture in Kostanay City, Kazakhstan, I bring
today's photo blog to an end. I love how she's typing on
a laptop. It could be any number of my writing and blogging
friends portrayed in this lovely bronze.

Well, it seems like I focused on people in sculptures today, and that's great. But there is a lot of street art out there and much of it is far more abstract. Another day, another time. Have a great Friday, everyone, and treat each other with kindness.
