Isn't creativity an amazing process. So rarely can something make me so happy, but using my creative side always makes my heart lighter and my smile come. If it's really in the groove, I even hum or sing just from pure happiness. Such a day was yesterday.
My errands were a bit crazy - all over the town, picking up this and that. But I finally got home at 12:30 pm (I didn't get everything done, but the rest can wait for a week). The day was wonderfully beautiful - more than 60 degrees. We'll be dropping back to the 40's by the weekend, but it was nice enough that I decided to retire my parka for the season and switch to my leather bomber jacket. So I switched out my pockets and washed my parka. Now it's all clean and ready for next winter.
I finished the design for my silver-etched bracelet. It's an ambitious etch - there's a lot going on in the design bands on the piece. I didn't get to etch it yet, but I got the final passed on to my laptop so that I can print it out today on the laser printer at work. I will try and etch it next week and then I can depletion guild the metal, bend it to the appropriate bend, and begin the enamel work on it.
And I cooked my corned beef and potatoes for dinner and they turned out great! So, all was well. Don't forget to visit our auctions for Beading for a Cure. The top item is by Grace Danel and the lower item by Annette Holbert. Lovely, aren't they?
