The Olympics are starting to wind down. Not that there aren't still many events to go, but we're in the final days. My body will be happy about that - exhaustion has been amplified with extended hours.
I got my supplies for my copper etching earlier in the week, and I think I might do one of my backplates in etched silver because Telperion really needs a silver back - copper just won't look right. That means that I need one more type of acid and a bit of investigation to make sure that I can etch with this stronger chemical. It won't be a major expense, but will push the etching back a bit. Since I still have not received my translation, I guess I've got the time.
But I did get my new photo lights this week. I can finally set up my photo set-up and get some decent photos of work that has been waiting for good photos for more than a year. I may try and get a few photos done this afternoon. I would really like to get a gallery set up for my work on my website - it's a bit sparse right now and I have a lot of work that I have done over the years that still needs to be uploaded. But it's a studio day, and I plan to studio - LOL. Have a creative day!
