Today Isn't a MAJOR Day - It's Still Filled with Stuff, Tho

I actually get a "day off" today. I'm rather shocked - LOL. I'm going to fry up some hamburger patties for dinners later on (it's such an easy freeze and defrost meal), and then I'll get to work on the other things I've had to put aside over the past few days.

Happiness is finally getting a true "day off". Of course
I have a million things I need to or can do to fill that
day, but I'm just looking forward to a day without needing
to be in the shop. It's supposed to be a rainy day, so I
won't do a lot of outdoor work. Just cleaning the front
steps if I remember/want to do it. LOL

Number one on my list will be my Virtual conference with my mind Doc at 3:00 pm this afternoon. I'll make sure I have either the laptop or the tablet set up and ready for that one. I know he'll basically tell me that people should write down all instructions for me because my verbal memory sucks, but I'm curious about what else he'll tell me because I'm feeling pretty good about my mental stability/ability with the exception of memory of verbal instructions.

The human brain is such an interesting thing.
I'll be happy with my books and my music,
my swimming and my treadmill, and
cooking - I do love cooking. I could live a
very comfortable life alone if I had my
books (on my phone, mostly), my music
and a kitchen in which to play. LOL

I think I mentioned earlier in the week (or last week) that I had enjoyed the various puzzles and games I had played for the extended memory test. I went to the bookstore and purchased three different puzzle books and I've been working my way through them a little bit at a time. I don't have the patience to deal with them for long periods of time, unlike with some of the phone games I do (my favorite phone game being "Happy Color" - a color by numbers game that I've been playing daily for years).

I don't like crossword puzzles, sudoku
or wordle, so I had to find other types
of puzzles to play with. I'm enjoying
working my way through the three books
I purchased, but I'd much rather read a
book than use it with a pen/pencil.

But today isn't a major day - I don't have a million tasks awaiting me. If it's not raining, I might sweep away the Robin's nest detritus from my front steps, and I might wash the kitchen floor - it could use a good cleaning. Then again, there's always the shower to scrub and the bathrooms to clean. Will any of this get done? Maybe. Getting gas into Minnion is actually much higher on my mundane list - LOL. Have an excellent Friday and I'll be back tomorrow to wrap up the week. Slava Ukraini.
