Cooking was successful and fun, yesterday. My beef stew is marvelous, and I'm well stocked on roasted pears for the next week+. I also got my "Ogre Juice" made for the next week, so there's little room on my side of the refrigerator. Just the way I like to head into the weekend.
My refrigerator is now very crowded with lots of containers of cooked pears/orange slices along with Ogre Juice and beef stew. I won't be starving in the immediate future - LOL. |
DH and I have seemed to come to an impasse (temporarily) about how to close the store. I did have direction come during my morning meditation, and I think it will work well. I just have to get it started. I'll have to purchase boxes of appropriate sizing, and develop a form today for identification and tracking, but that can be done. DH also reminded me about a repair I had accepted that's already overdue. Damn. I knew I shouldn't have accepted and repairs over the holiday season. I'll have to take a close look and try and get that going today.
Himself is moaning about maybe having to work five days a week! Horrors! I'm quite sure the vast majority of my readers are crying "Crocodile Tears" right along with me. Now .... I don't work in the shop five days a week anymore either, and haven't for a few years now. But for years and years I worked five or six day weeks, every day on the sales floor. My sympathies are minimal, and I suspect he won't need to do that anyway.
At this point, I'm just crying Crocodile Tears. I'm so over this - no hysteria, no second-guessing, and also, no progress. Now things need to actually get moving, so I'll have to dig in and do it. |
So, I just have to get my thoughts in order and begin the process of pulling inventory from the shelves, getting it photographed, identified and boxed, and move in that direction. We have a lot of inventory and it won't be a walk in the park, but we need to get the Indian goods separated from the beads, so it's got to be done. Have an excellent weekend, I'm looking forward to a "relaxing" Sunday. Slava Ukraini and חיים למען ישראל.
