I actually got quite a bit done at the shop yesterday. So that was one good thing for a Tuesday. Today is my "day off", and I have a mental shopping list a mile long. I probably won't get everything done, but that's not horrible. I'll get most of it done, and I have my Fridays back until closer to Christmas. I'm losing my Sundays off, though, starting this week. We're open four hours on Sundays for the next three weeks. Historically those days have been a bust, and I really wanted to dispense with them. But DH wanted them, and he's the person who works them with me. So, Sundays are on the work calendar for the first three Sundays of December. *sigh*
I got a package from "SlipIns" two days ago - three new skin suits for my swimming. A gift for myself because I really love the skin suits I have. My usual shopping location, Swim Outlet (dot com), didn't have the size I needed in their skin suits, so I went directly to the manufacturer instead. I'm set for the next year or two now, and have some wonderful new colors/patterns to enjoy.
I really love my skinsuits, but they stretch out eventually and get a little baggy. They also wear out over time. Now I'm set. Happy Holidays to me! LOL |
After the cold snap of the past two days, we're entering a few days of warm - instead of it being 5F degrees, it's 29F degrees! Whoot! Heat Wave! LOL. We'll actually be above freezing during the days for several days in a row. What a treat! I'm determined to thoroughly enjoy my expedition to my grocery stores today - just the chance to be outdoors in above freezing temps is a treat.
So, I'm off to the pool. I hope you have a simply lovely Wednesday. I'm already looking forward to chatting with Aearwen later today - we've been doing our weekly chats for years now and it's always fun to catch up with her life. It's been a real year of changes for her, and she's still getting settled into her new home. Every day is another box unpacked and new things to find anew. And that's our lives too - all of our lives. Every day is a new box to unpack. May what you find in today's box be glorious. I'll be back tomorrow. Slava Ukraini and חיים למען ישראל.
