How's Your Summer Been Going?

How;s your summer been going? Or, if you're one of my friend in the Southern Hemisphere, how's your winter been going? You're solidly in the middle of the season now, Midsummer and the fall of Gondolin are coming up at the end of the week. Your season is moving through quickly. Have you made a start on your "to do" list for the season? Maybe you should be getting on with that if you haven't even started yet - LOL.

There are a large variety of images of Gondolin on
the internet, but this is one I enjoyed. Here, it's
quite close to the mountains of the valley, yet has
a style all its' own. Just Google "Gondolin" and
you'll see a bunch of images.

Things on my end are moving slower than I've wanted, but there's a lot to do and sometimes A has to be done before B can be completed. It makes for a lot of "hurry up and wait" time, and that's the kind of thing that really grates on my nerves. I started a data base last week, and will have to get back to it today. If I'm going to do anything about these massive amounts of Swarovski crystals that I still need to sell, I need a data base of stores to contact about it. I started a listing, but then got interrupted. Maybe today I can get some more work done on it.

Time is starting to get away from me again. Time to get back
to making my lists. I have product to sell and it won't get
sold if I'm just sitting around doing nothing. *sigh*

I also started a quick sample of what I might include in this year's holiday card. If not this year, than it will work well for next year. Again, it'll take some time, and I'm still very much in the design stage, but it would be really cute. The difficulty on this one will be vision. If my eyes are cooperating, it goes quickly. If my eyes are not ... well, that's a very different story.

I have found, over the years, that making a sample of
what I want to do for my holiday cards can save me
a lot of grief and wasted time. I need to determine if
what I want this year is feasible and how much time
it will take. It might be better pushed off until next year,
but I can't say until I've actually made some samples.

Today is a perfect day for outdoor swimming, and I'll be in line at the gym talking with my friends in a hour from now, and in the pool shortly thereafter. I'm hoping to have a regular schedule this week. We'll see what happens, but that's the goal at least - LOL.

I have found, over the years, that making a schedule can
be a helpful thing for me. Fitting in all of the various
parts of my days and goals requires a framework of
some type. I flail, rudderless and in circles, without a
schedule of some type.

So, I;m gong to cut this off here, today. I'm sure there's more I could say, but I'd rather gather up my swimming stuff, wrap this up with pictures, and head on the road. I hope you have an awesome day and Slava Ukraini. I'll be back tomorrow.
