So, back to the swimming pool today for a wonderful early morning swim. I need to work off the two pounds that DH's Sunday meal has cost me. Moo Shu pork is a lovely meal, but there's a lot of sweet in it, and sweet is automatically grabbed and stored by my body. Well, my body really doesn't need to store it. So, back to reasonable food choices and that two pounds will be off again by the end of the week. No problem.
On Thursday this week I see the eye doctor for my second two-week followup. I think this is when I actually get an exam that will give me a prescription for new eyeglasses. That's what I need. Then I can send out one of my two pairs for re-lensing, and when I get that set back, I'll send the second set in. Then I'll have two sets of eyeglasses that have the correct prescription for my revised eyesight, and I'll finally be able to see clearly for the first time in years. I know it won't be forever - bodies change constantly and aging is a never-ending journey through new pathways on familiar slopes. It's not for the timid.
The shop was somewhat busy yesterday, so I was kept occupied with customers for much f the day. DH was working on more photographs in the basement area. He's taking photos of the various equipment items he wants to sell, using his phone. It's not the BEST camera in the world, but it's a Samsung, and their phone cameras aren't bad. I'm sure it will be sufficient for his needs, and that's what's important. He'll spend today in the garden, however. He just got a new set of nippers and a long moisture meter, so he's happy.

DH wanted me to order one of these for him - an extra-long moisture meter for the garden. It arrived early last week and he's happily using it to keep from over-watering the plants. |
On that note, pictures and heading out to the gym. Have a glorious Tuesday and I'll be back tomorrow. Slava Ukraini.
