Phone Lines, Schedule Shifts and Cleanup - My Life in a Nutshell

This will be a topsy-turvy week and although I'll be swimming on Tuesday and Thursday as usual, I'm moving my Wednesday swim out to Friday because Wednesday has turned into a VERY busy day, all packed into 6:00 am - 9:00 am, after which time it's "sit and wait" until the phone company shows up and checks out my line.

I'll be sitting and waiting for Century Link to
check out my lines and find out why my phones
aren't getting calls. Thank goodness for cell
phones. It's what we use most of the time in
any case.

My landline isn't receiving phone calls, which is quite inconvenient and does NOT make us happy. I did all of the interior checks last week, and it's not in the interior connections, so I had to contact Century Link to check the exterior ones. That is scheduled for tomorrow anytime from 9:00 am until 5:00 pm. Oy! Between that, and my pre-surgery physical which is scheduled for 7:30 am, it's become clear to me that if I need groceries, I'll have to be at the store at 6:00 am when they open. I need groceries, so I'll be switching my swimming from Wednesday to Friday this week.

Minnehaha Falls, which has been a trickle over
the past two years, is in full stream now because we've
had such a quick snow melt. Suddenly it's beautiful
again and people are flocking to Minneapolis to take
a look at the Falls.

On a positive note, it's been lovely weather - nice and warm. Our snowpack has melted considerably. I took a few photos yesterday, if they are accessible, I'll share them with you. We might still get a snowstorm or two, but those will be fast and furious and quickly gone. We're sensing Spring, and I'm quite sure that gardening is part of what DH is thinking about, in the middle of "how to close the store and sell his AFS merchandise" which is what he's been working hard on for the past week.

Chickie's area is a disaster. I've been telling her
to clean it up for almost a month. She REALLY
won't like it if I do it, and that's what will happen
if she doesn't get her butt in gear.

At least he's doing something, and with him working in the warehouse, he's not breathing down our necks about what we have or haven't gotten done on the sales floor. I've been harping to Chickie for a few weeks now that she's GOT to clean up her area. Yesterday I put a large box where she usually stands. Either she cleans out her area, or I'll do it. She probably won't like it if I do it. Just saying ...

So, I'm wrapping this up and hoping my photos are in the computer for me to share with you. Have an excellent Tuesday and I'll see you tomorrow for a very rushed post. Slave Ukraini.
