A Snow Update and Orthodontist Update - On Time Today for a Change - LOL

Yesterday's snow was large and continuous, causing me to have to shovel in the morning, and by the time I was a bit into it, I knew that swimming was a no-go. So, I shoveled for am hour or so, got the driveway clear and by the ti,e I was finished, I already had another inch on the cleared surface. It was enough to put the trash buckets out onto the curb, which was my goal. Then I piled into the car and headed to my orthodontist appointment,

I'll be putting rubber bands exactly where they are on
this girl. My Orthodontist wants me to start wearing
them on Friday. I guess I'll get used to putting them on
and off, LOL.

The roads were bad, but plowed (in parts). Still I made it to my appointment, I now have brackets on each tooth and instructions to wear rubber bands between three teeth on each side of my mouth for 20 hours each day. The bands should be removed for meals only, then replaced with new ones. They're tiny, but strong, and I suspect I'll end up with some pain from them, on and off. My next appointment is March 1st.

Meanwhile, I went to the grocery store before returning home. DH had snow blown before my return, but we still had more snow. I went inside the house and cooked for a while, then went out and shoveled again. BUT, later that day I noticed a call on our phone. The trash and recycling company was cancelling all pickups for the day.

I put my bins back into the garage yesterday
afternoon, but have to take them, out again
in a few minutes before I head to the
YMCA  for my swim. I'll swim today
and tomorrow since I missed yesterday's
water exercise. Shoveling does not make
up for my daily exercise.

So, today I get to do it all again. I'll make tire tracks, though, since DH said to just drive through the snow since he'll be home pulling snow from the roof today. There's 8-12 inches on the roof now, so it'll be a miserable job. I'm just grateful to be able to get to the pool. It'll be challenging to take my trash and recycling to the curb again, but I hold hope that it will actually be picked up today. And Life goes on ... yadda, yadda and yadda. Have a great day and I'll be back tomorrow.
